The job, without the sales pitch
- $18.50 an hour — above what most agencies around here pay
- 20 to 30 hours a week with one client — not six clients at four hours each
- No driving between houses. You go to one home and you stay there
- Weekly pay
- Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg and surrounding towns
Why we can pay more
We are not being generous. We charge for full schedules instead of short visits, and a caregiver who stays for a year costs us far less than replacing three who quit. Most agencies do the opposite — they chase every four-hour case, burn their people out on windshield time, and then wonder why nobody sticks.
You are the whole business. We would rather pay you properly than spend that money re-hiring every month.
What we need from you
- Experience caring for someone — agency, facility, or your own family counts
- Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check and child abuse clearance. If you do not have them yet, that is fine — we walk you through getting them
- Eligibility to work in the United States (we verify through E-Verify)
- A car and a valid license for most cases
- Showing up. It is most of the job

What the work actually looks like
Helping someone bathe and dress. Getting them safely from a bed to a chair. Reminding them about medication. Cooking a real meal, running a load of laundry, driving to an appointment. Sitting with someone who has not talked to anyone in two days.
It is physical, and some days it is heavy. It is also one of the few jobs where a person is measurably better off because you showed up.
A note on job scams. Bright Future Home Care will never ask you for your Social Security number, bank details or any kind of payment before an in-person interview.
